Namibia Armature Rewinding

We are the only Direct Current, repair and rebuild facility in Namibia and one of only two licensed repair facilities to rebuild GE (US) rotation equipment in Africa.  Rotating equipment AC and DC up to 700kW can be handled.

Capacities and scope of work:

  • GE 581 main generator D29.

  • GE Traction Motor armature 761.

  • Fault finding.

  • Surge testing.

  • Overhauls, Rewinding, balancing.

  • VPI, spin seasoning.

  • Test certificates and warranties.
